The sealed formats

• Elite Trainer Boxes: packs plus sleeves, dice and storage, a great gift.
• Bundles and blisters: a few packs at a lower price.
• Tins and collections: packs with a guaranteed promo card.
• Starter and Commander decks: ready-to-play decks for new players.

Sealed or singles?

Opening packs is about the fun of the chase. If you want one specific card, buying that single is almost always cheaper.

Pull rates

Every pack is random. A box can be great or quiet, and no seller can promise a particular hit.

Grading

Grading companies give a card a condition score and seal it in a slab. Read more on our Graded Cards page.

Protecting your cards

• Penny sleeves and toploaders for valuable singles.
• Deck sleeves and deck boxes for cards you play with.
• Side-loading binders for collections.

A sensible first order

A booster bundle or Elite Trainer Box plus a pack of sleeves and a binder is a good place to start.
